Hanna Fazylova Matok is a multimedia artist and Hebrew calligrapher whose work is rooted in spirituality, cultural heritage, and the transformative power of sacred text. Born in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, she immigrated to New York with her family in 1993, bringing with her a rich tapestry of traditions and influences that continue to shape her artistic vision.

Drawing inspiration from esoteric Jewish teachings, Kabbalistic symbolism, and her Mizrahi roots, Hanna creates unique works of art that blend Hebrew calligraphy with mixed media, painting, and contemporary artistic techniques. Her pieces explore themes of faith, identity, feminine creativity, and the connection between the physical and spiritual worlds. Each work is a personal expression designed to inspire reflection, beauty, and meaning.

Alongside her studio practice, Hanna is passionate about sharing her knowledge and creative process with others. She leads art and Hebrew calligraphy workshops for women, fostering community, self-expression, and spiritual exploration through artistic practice.
